Martin wrote an article for the Canadian Relish and Whisky Magazine. The article tells the story of our distillery with some interesting facts regarding alchol production in our homeland, Norway.
The fact that Norway also had a production monopoly on spirits for 80 years, only lifted as recently in 2005, has made Norway a people that is happy with/used to very little choice. Around mid-2010, the first initiatives to establish Norwegian whisky distilleries saw the light of day, and today there are around 20 distilleries making whisky in the country.
